Players gather on a Las Vegas Strip hotel balcony for the opening of a new hotel, a new restaurant and a new concert venue.
The NFL opened its Las Vegas convention center and hotel atrium on Tuesday night and was set to host its annual awards show on Sunday night.NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and league executive vice president Troy Vincent met with Las Vegas mayor Carolyn Goodman, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and other executives.
The league also hosted a press conference in Las, and announced the relocation of the NFL’s games to Phoenix.
The league will move its Super Bowl from New Orleans to Phoenix, and the NBA is expanding the Phoenix Sports Arena to accommodate the Super Bowl in 2020.
A number of NFL teams will move to other cities, including the Oakland Raiders and New York Giants.
